April Lockhart is a born July 4, 1995. When she was in the 7th grade she began to take piano and guitar lessons. It was this that ignited her love for songwriting. at the age of 12, April composed her first single Different. The year she turned 14 was when she devoted a great deal of her time making song lyrics and working on her musical skills. After a while, she began to go on trips with her dad as well as write her songs either in NY or LA. April also added additional themes to the song "Take My Hand" for a few of her acquaintances who faced issues such as peer pressurization issues, or even teenage suicide.
