Her birth date is March 29th, 1985 in Roswell, New Mexico. Gerina is the given name of her. Gerina Stevenson was born to Mexican parentage Rita Stevenson (mother) and Alan Stevenson (father). Her parents are Mexican and American. From a young age, her desire to be engaged in sport was strong. Gerina began golfing when she was fifteen years old. Gerina completed her high school education in Goddard High School. When she was in high school, she won her first prize in the New Mexico state golf tournament. Along with volleyball, she competed on the state level. At the age of 2003, she began her studies at the University of Texas. Her senior year was a success. she won every single tournament that she played in. Through her college time, she was awarded an award for Conference USA Individual Champion Player of the Year Award and Female UTEP athlete of the year.
